I guess I'll be trying Linux again

I Love Computers. A lot - they are tons of fun. But I haven't had a whole lot of time to get on them lately, with school, work, marriage, etc. I guess thats why I'm not such a huge Linux user. I like it, I see the uses for it, I think its an astronomically great thing - if you've never used it, download one of the flavors of it, install it, play with it, learn it, use it. I just haven't had all that much time to use it though.

But, I just saw some videos of the newest X-Windows, and wow, it looks incredible. I will definitely be installing this OS on my system, at least for a little while, just to wiggle windows! YEAH!
Check it: http://ftp.acc.umu.se/mirror/temp/seth/blog/xshots.html

That is an absolutely amazing thing to be done with an OS. Thanks to everyone that willingly works in the Open software market, you all really do put out a ton of absolutely impressive things. Absolutely phenominal, from OpenOffice (version 2 is out!), to Linux, The GIMP, the list goes on and on. Thanks to you all!

Massively Multi Player whatever...

Well, as you probably have already seen, I am big into games and computers. I think they rock the night away into lullaby land. But anyway, I have started playing a free Massively Multi-Player Online RPG called Marcoland. Its really cool, so far I am level 4, and am a member of the Army of Anubis. Rock'n the Catwalk!

Anyway, check it out and come join me at www.tiipsi.com. My name is The Drew : . AoA . :
Send me an in-game email when your in, we can hit it up and have some fun! I am going to look into other games as time passes, but right now it seems very fun. I hope I can aspire to greatness as well as my fellow townsman Homer has ;-)

So, the moral of the story is, come join me! Its very fun, and I'd love to have you as an in game buddy!

Random War Trivia

I found this little quip on FiringSquad.com about the M1 Garand Rifle. Enjoy.

"In the battle of the bulge in
WWII, the M1 Garand was
so reliable, that when it
froze, a GI only needs to
urinate on it to unthaw it."

There ya go... Too much info? Nah.
